This week, the children celebrated the second week of Advent, focusing on Messiah, the Peaceful Tracker. They learned about the peace Jesus brings to our lives and how He is the fulfillment of God’s promise as the Prince of Peace. Through this special lesson, they discovered:
- The Promise of Peace: They explored how the prophets, like Isaiah, foretold the coming of the Messiah, who would bring peace between God and His people.
- Shalom – God’s Peace: The children learned about the Hebrew concept of “shalom,” which represents harmony with God, others, and creation.
- Living in Peace: Through stories and activities, the children reflected on how we can have peace in our hearts, even during difficult times, because of Jesus.
This second Advent lesson encouraged the children to trust in Jesus as the source of true peace and to prepare their hearts for His coming at Christmas.
