Ezekiel, the Hopeful Tracker

This week marked the beginning of Advent, and the children explored the story of Ezekiel, the Hopeful Tracker. Through this special lesson, they discovered:

  • The Meaning of Advent: Advent is a time of preparation and hope as we look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus and the fulfillment of God’s promises.
  • Ezekiel’s Visions of Hope: The children learned about Ezekiel’s visions, including:
    • God’s throne, reminding us that He is always in control.
    • The valley of dry bones, symbolizing how God brings new life and restoration.
    • The flowing river from the temple, representing the renewal of God’s people through His Spirit.
  • The Virtue of Hope: The lesson emphasized that hope is trusting in God’s promises, even during challenging times.
