What Do You Already Have?

When Elisha asked the widow what she had in her house, her initial response was, “nothing… except a small jar of olive oil.” In times of stress, it’s easy to overlook the value of what is already present. This verse invites a deeper reflection on gratitude and perception. Rather than focusing on what is lacking, believers are encouraged to recognize the overlooked blessings and gifts already entrusted to them. God often uses existing resources—talents, relationships, time, or faith itself—to bring about transformation.
