Sent to Believe, Sent to Serve

Yesterday’s worship centered on John 20:19-31, where the risen Christ appears to His disciples, offers peace, and commissions them for mission. With the words, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you,” Jesus imparted the Holy Spirit, signaling the beginning of the disciples’ work in the world. The sermon highlighted that Easter is not confined to a single day; it is a living reality, celebrated each time the church gathers in Jesus’ name. Christ’s resurrection calls believers not only to faith but also to action, carrying the good news of salvation into a broken world. The invitation remains for all to live as those sent — empowered by the Spirit and anchored by the peace of the risen Lord.
