Today is Good Friday. A day where love looks like suffering. A day when darkness seemed to win — but only for a moment. As we remember Jesus’ crucifixion, we pause at the foot of the cross and let the silence speak. “He became obedient to death — even death on a cross.”
Here is a prayer for this solemn day:
Lord Jesus, today we remember Your sacrifice — the crown of thorns, the broken body, the blood poured out. You, the King of Kings, gave up heaven’s throne for a cross of shame. And yet, through that cross, You brought us life. May we never forget the weight of that gift. Help us to live with gratitude, humility, and courage. Amen.
