Lost and Found: The Grace of the Father

This week’s sermon focused on one of Jesus’ most beloved parables—the story of the prodigal son. Found in Luke 15:1-3, 11-32, the message revealed the depth of God’s mercy for both the wandering and the faithful. The younger son represents those who stray, choosing their own way until they find themselves empty and broken. Yet even from a distance, the Father—our God—runs to welcome them home. Meanwhile, the older son’s struggle with resentment reminds us that obedience without love can grow cold. The challenge this week is to look in the mirror and ask: where do we see ourselves in this story? And how can we embrace the Father’s heart more fully?
