Rejoicing in the Midst of Life’s Challenges

Philippians 4:4-7 challenges us to “not be anxious about anything” and instead bring our concerns to God in prayer. This invitation can be especially comforting during stressful times, such as the Christmas season. Are there areas in your life where you struggle to let go of worry? Reflect today on how you can bring those concerns before God with thanksgiving. Trusting Him doesn’t mean ignoring the difficulties but recognizing that His peace is greater than our understanding. Take a moment to write down your worries and lift them up in prayer. As you do, consider how God’s faithfulness in the past gives you confidence for the future. Rejoicing doesn’t mean the absence of hardship, but it does mean finding joy in the assurance that God is with you through it all.
