Palm Sunday

This week, the children celebrated Palm Sunday, marking the beginning of Holy Week and remembering Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Through an engaging lesson and activities, they discovered:

  • A Humble King: Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, showing humility rather than the grandeur expected of a king.
  • The Crowd’s Praise: The people welcomed Jesus with palm branches and shouts of “Hosanna,” acknowledging Him as the promised King.
  • God’s Upside-Down Kingdom: They reflected on how Jesus’ kingdom is different—where the greatest are servants, and the King sacrifices for His people.

The children participated in hands-on activities to reenact the story and explored how Jesus’ entry reminds us of His love and mission to bring salvation.
