We are excited and blessed to have Bishop John Pena Auta from Nigeria meet with us as a district on Tuesday, January 28th from 6:30pm-8:00pm at Carrollton First Methodist Church, located at 206 Newnan Street, in the Fellowship Hall. This is a huge honor for us, and one that only our district is blessed with before Bishop Auta is in North Ga. for the Ignite event on Feb 1. Nigeria is the country that North Ga. and North Alabama conferences of the Global Methodist Church are partnering with. We will eat supper, enjoy fellowship around the table, and hear from Bishop Auta. Please RSVP to the church office by Monday morning, January 27th, to reserve your spot. Olive Garden dishes will be our supper, which there is no cost for, but there will be an offering basket for those who would like to contribute. There is a need for a few volunteers to help setup and serve the buffet and drinks, so if you’d like to help with that, please let us know when you RSVP so we can pass that information along.
