A Live Drive-Through Nativity Experience at Lithia Springs Methodist Church
We invite you to join us for one of our most beloved Christmas traditions—How Far to Bethlehem, a live drive-through nativity presented by Lithia Springs Methodist Church. Come experience the story of Christ’s birth brought to life through beautiful sets, costumed actors, and scenes that reflect the wonder of that holy night. Invite your family, neighbors, and community to drive through and rejoice in the hope of the season!
Volunteer Opportunities
This event is only possible through the generosity and service of our church family and community. We warmly invite you to participate in this year’s nativity in any of the following roles:
Actors & Scene Participants
Portray shepherds, angels, townspeople, the Holy Family, and more. No acting experience needed!
Parking Lot Hosts
Help direct vehicles safely, welcome guests, and keep the flow of traffic moving.
Kitchen Volunteers
Assist with preparing and serving meals, snacks, and hot drinks for volunteers.
Dressing Room Attendants
Help actors with costumes, organization, and quick changes between scenes.
Set Up & Breakdown Teams
Help assemble the outdoor sets, lighting, signage, and staging areas—and help take them down at the end.
Volunteer Dinner
All volunteers are invited to enjoy soups and sandwiches at 5:00 PM each night in the Fellowship Hall before heading to their stations. This is a wonderful time of fellowship, prayer, and preparation before the evening begins.
