History
Lithia Springs Methodist Church has a rich history dating back to 1845, when it began as a non-denominational church founded by Israel Causey. The church faced challenges, such as a cyclone in 1887 that destroyed its original sanctuary, but the community rebuilt and thrived. Over the years, the church grew and modernized, culminating in the construction of a new sanctuary in 1979. Today, the church honors its heritage while continuing to serve its congregation and community.
