Faith and Deeds: Living Out the Gospel

Yesterday, Pastor Thomas Long delivered a powerful message from James 2:1-17, reminding us that faith without deeds is dead. He challenged us to consider how we treat others, especially those who may seem different or less fortunate. Are we showing favoritism, or are we truly living out the Gospel in how we treat everyone equally? Pastor Long used a beautiful analogy of a box of crayons, showing that God’s family includes everyone, just like each crayon contributes to the overall picture. As we enter the week, let’s reflect on how we can demonstrate our faith through acts of kindness and service, treating everyone with the same love and grace that God extends to us.
