Today, the children learned about Joseph, the Forgiving Tracker. They explored the story of Joseph, focusing on the importance of forgiveness and trusting God to bring good out of difficult situations. Through this lesson, the children discovered:
- Joseph’s Journey: The children learned how Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers, falsely accused, and imprisoned, yet he remained faithful and optimistic, trusting God through it all.
- Forgiveness and Reconciliation: The children saw how Joseph chose to forgive his brothers when they came to Egypt for help during a famine. They learned that Joseph’s forgiveness led to the restoration of his family.
- God’s Plan: The lesson emphasized that even in the worst situations, God can work things for good if we trust Him, and that forgiveness is a key part of living a life of faith.
The lesson highlighted that just as Joseph forgave his brothers, we too are called to forgive others because God has forgiven us.
