To know the real Jesus, we must see Him through the pages of the Bible. This Jesus doesn’t change based on our feelings or opinions—He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Only this Jesus can save and transform our lives.
In this Bible study, you’ll explore how many people misunderstand Jesus by comparing the Jesus of Scripture to counterfeit versions shaped by personal preferences, opinions, and culture. It will help you recognize false portrayals of Jesus and gain a deeper, biblical understanding of who He truly is. You’ll develop a stronger view of the authority of Scripture and how Jesus calls you to live. Along the way, you’ll evaluate and correct common misconceptions and be equipped to share a vision of Jesus—one defined by the Bible, not by culture—with your friends and neighbors.
Our next 8-week adult Bible study begins in mid-August, and we’d love to have you join us! Sessions will be available on Monday evenings from 7:00–8:00 PM and Tuesday mornings from 10:00–11:00 AM. Study materials cost $20 per person and include a book and access to video content. Please label checks with “Not My Jesus Bible Study” on the memo line.
