Yesterday’s sermon focused on Luke 4:1-13, where Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness. After being baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus was led into the desert for forty days, facing hunger and spiritual attack. In each moment of temptation, He responded with Scripture, demonstrating that the Word of God is the greatest weapon against the enemy.
The message emphasized that temptation often increases when we draw closer to God. Just as Satan tried to derail Jesus’ mission, he attempts to distract and deceive believers today. However, by standing firm on God’s truth, we can resist his schemes. This week, let’s reflect on the power of Scripture in our spiritual battles and commit to knowing God’s Word deeply.
