Yesterday, our church gathered to celebrate the annual Christmas Cantata, ‘Once Upon a Holy Night.’ Through moving narration, beautiful music, and powerful scripture readings, we were reminded of the profound hope and joy that Christ’s birth brings to the world. From Colossians 1:15-20, we marveled at Jesus’ supremacy over all creation, and through Luke 2:7-12, we reflected on the humility of His birth. This season, let us carry the message of Emmanuel, “God with us,” in our hearts as we anticipate the coming of Christ anew.
