Joshua, the Strong and Courageous Tracker, Part II

This week, the children continued learning about Joshua, the Strong and Courageous Tracker in part two of the series. They explored the story of Joshua leading the Israelites across the Jordan River and setting up twelve stones as a memorial. Through this lesson, the children discovered:

  • Crossing the Jordan: The children learned about the miraculous crossing of the Jordan River on dry ground, with God stopping the waters to allow the Israelites to pass.
  • The Twelve Stones of Remembrance: They were introduced to the significance of the twelve stones that Joshua commanded the Israelites to set up as a memorial, representing the twelve tribes of Israel and serving as a reminder of God’s power and faithfulness.
  • Remembering God’s Promises: The lesson emphasized the importance of remembering what God has done for us and how we can trust His promises in every situation.

This lesson reinforced the themes of trusting God’s guidance and remembering His faithfulness in our lives.
