The Apostles’ Creed #691
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day He rose again.
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Amen.

Final Exhortations
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Thank You for Spreading Joy This Christmas!
We want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who supported this year’s Operation Christmas Child Douglas County toy drive and distribution. Because of your generosity and kindness, we shared the love and joy of Christmas with 138 families and 326 children in our community. Your dedication to serving others truly made a difference, and we are grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for helping us be the hands and feet of Christ this holiday season!
From the Frempong Family
We are deeply grateful to our church family for the thoughtful letters sent to Olivia during her military training. Your kindness and prayers have been a great source of encouragement to her and a blessing to us all. Thank you for being such a supportive community!
Donate Used Eyeglasses
The Progressive Class is carrying on the legacy of Barbara Marquez, who dedicated 20 years to sending eyeglasses into the mission field. Your donation of gently used eyeglasses can help bring the gift of clear vision to those in need. A collection box is located in the Progressive classroom. Thank you for continuing this impactful ministry!
How Far to Bethlehem
Tonight from 7:00pm – 9:00pm is the last presentation of our annual live nativity drive-thru. If you would like to volunteer as an actor or in another capacity, please meet down in the Fellowship Hall at 5:00pm for a meal and to receive your assignment for the evening. It is a truly moving experience that shares with the community the hope, peace, and fulfillment that Christ’s birth brings and is a powerful reminder of God’s love and the promise of salvation.
LSMC Christmas Party
Immediately following worship service on December 22nd we will head down to the Fellowship Hall for a fun, festive catered celebration! Stay tuned for details in the coming weeks.
