ABOUT

On Sunday Mornings

Children
Our nursery provides excellent care in a safe, clean and fun environment for children from birth through early elementary. It is conveniently located just a few steps away from the Sanctuary in the Children’s wing. Our children’s ministry is robust and widely known for its quality programming.

Apparel
We are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be focused on the service rather than what you’re wearing. Whether it’s slacks or jeans, simply wear what makes you feel most comfortable.

Worship
This time is designed for us to communicate with God from our hearts as one voice. No matter your preference, you can be led to worship God by our skillful Creative Arts team; it could be a choir and organ or a band, depending on the service. Everyone worships in a unique way; some express themselves through singing out and raising their hands, while others quietly reflect during this time. You’re welcome to naturally praise God from your heart, whatever that looks like.

Offering
During the service, there is a time of worship through the giving of our offerings. As a guest, please feel no pressure to give; this is an act of worship for our active members. This offering gives Lithia Springs UMC the means to reach out to our neighbors and a world that is desperately in need of the hope of the gospel.

The Sermon
During each service, you will hear a Scripture-based sermon with practical application that will challenge and inspire you. We believe that the teaching of God’s Word is essential to a growing community of believers and the furtherance of the gospel.

Communion
We participate in communion together once a month in designated Sunday services. The bread and juice that we share represents the body and blood that He sacrificed so that our sins could be forgiven in God’s sight.

Sunday Morning Small Groups
Bible fellowships for students, young adults, children and adults meet during the 9:45-10:45AM hour. A visit to our Welcome Table in the front of the sanctuary will guide you appropriately.

After the Service

Visit with Us
During the service, you’ll be asked to share information on a Connection Card (attached to your worship folder) and give it to an usher or drop it off in the Welcome area in front of the sanctuary.  Informational brochures and answers to your questions may be found here.

Pick Up Your Kids
Thanks for remembering to pick up your children promptly following the service.
